Two People Including a Child Killed and Five Injured in Aerial Bombardment by the Terror Military Council in Hsenwi

The Terror Military Council bombed Hsenwi, Northern Shan State, which is under the control of Kokang Army (MNDAA) by plane again, killing 2 including a child, and injuring another 5.

In the incident, at around 2:30 a.m. on July 28, a (3)-year-old child and a (64)-year-old woman were killed and five (5) members of a family were injured when a Terror Military Council plane bombed a neighborhood in Hsenwi.

“At midnight that day, they shot, and our two-storied house collapsed. We have no place to live now. The bombs exploded in front of our house. I can’t even know how many bombs have they dropped.  My nephew and his mother died. I didn’t even know how many of them fell, and I heard the sound of them falling at our house. My nephew and mother passed away. Seven people sleep at our house, and all of them are still in the hospital,” said an injured woman.

A 34-year-old woman was injured on her head and got 3 stitches. A 32-year-old man had an operation on his wrist. Another 32-year-old woman got 7 stitches on her head and her left hand was broken. A 17-year-old boy got injured on his right foot, the bone of his second toe was crashed and he had to get operated on his left leg. And, a 15-year-old boy was injured on his shoulder. His toe joint was dislocated. Each of them was seriously injured and treated at Ziwaka Private Hospital in Kutkai.

“We could not be easily recovered. Our losses were too much. With this commodity prices, it is very difficult for us to get treatment for the whole family,” she continued.

The Terror Military Council made 4 aerial bombardments at Hsenwi, Northern Shan State, which was under control of Kokang Army (MNDAA) and damaging many buildings including school buildings. As the phone lines were cut, Ta’ang Women’s Organization is still investigating on some more details of casualties.
