3 civilians killed, 7 injured in Namtu and Manton airstrike-bombings

The Terror Military Council bombed near the Pottvarong monastery in No.8 Quarter, Namtu which is under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army – PSLF/TNLA.

October 2, at 7 am today the Military Council’s jet fighter dropped a 500-pound bomb, killing 3 civilians and injuring 7, according to residents.

“This morning, there were 3 deaths, 2 deaths on the spot, 1 death on the way to the hospital, and 7 children were injured,” he said.

The bombing killed 1 man and 2 women, injured 3 men, 3 women and a child. One child was still missing when this is reported. 

In addition, 9 civilian houses were damaged by bombs in Ward 8.

Similarly, at 7:30 am today, the 130th Army regiment camp in Manton township, was bombed by the TerrorMilitary Council. 

“In Manton, there was no damage or injury because the bombing was only done inside the 130th Army Camp,” said a local woman from Mengton.
