Terror Military Council Airstrikes Hit a Ward in Momeik Town, Injure Local Woman

A local man said that the southern neighborhood of Momeik Township (Möng Mit)—an area reported to be controlled by the Ta’ang Army (PSLF/TNLA)—was bombed by the Terror Military Council.
The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. on October 16, 2025, when a jet fighter dropped two bombs, injuring one woman.
“One 500-pound and one 250-pound bomb were dropped. One woman was hit; she was injured in the right arm. Three houses were also damaged,” said a man with knowledge of the incident.
The person injured in the bomb explosion was 50-year-old Daw Ohn Shwe, a resident of the southern ward.
Previously, on October 9, an airstrike bombing of Wepaung Village, Thit Seint Kone Village Tract, Momeik Township, resulted in the deaths of seven locals, including two children, and the injury of eight others.
