MNDAA Drone Attack Injures Civilian in Namphatkar

A local resident was injured during a drone attack launched by the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) in Namphatkar Village, Kutkai Township, Northern Shan State.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. today, March 14, MNDAA forces carried out a drone strike targeting the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) administrative office and local police station.

“The MNDAA launched a drone strike that struck a residential house. An elderly man living nearby was hit and sustained injuries to his right leg,” a local resident reported.

The explosion from the strike on the TNLA office impacted a nearby civilian home, causing a fire and injuring the resident.

The MNDAA has been engaging in heavy shelling of the TNLA-controlled town of Kutkai since 10:25 a.m. today.
