One Local Killed in Midnight Aerial Bombardment in Namhsan

At 11:30 p.m. before midnight, the Terror Military Council bombed Namhsan in the Ta’ang region, which is controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), using a jet fighter plane, despite no active fighting in the area. 

A resident in Namsan said, “The bomb fell last night, hitting the buildings. It’s lucky that people weren’t hit too much. Only one was slightly injured, nothing happened. At the EPC office, some people were injured, but the details are not yet known.”

According to a local woman, the explosion from the 500-pound bomb killed one local resident and other one was injured. 

Six 500-pound bombs were dropped at the law office, EPC office, tea-leave factory near the regional administrative office, the locals said. 

Phone and internet lines have been cut off in Mantong, Namtu, Mongmit, Mogok, Nongkhio, Kyaukme, Hsipaw and Lashio including Namhsan until today. 

The Terror Military bombed three times with a fighter from 11:41 p.m. to 11:51 pm last night, at Namhsan. The first bomb was dropped at 11:41 last night,  followed by another at 11:45 p.m., and the last at time at 11:51 p.m., a total of 3 times, and 6 bombs were dropped by a jet fighter. The bombardment caused explosions in the Wards of Namhsan. The Taang Army (TNLA)  announced that further details on casualties and damages would be reported again.
