SAC Bombs Mogok, One Killed, One Injured
Spontaneous bombing by the Terror Military Council in Mogok, which is under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), killed one local man and injured one.
Today, on May 3 at 9:00 am, a jet fighter dropped bombs on the western monastery at Kathe Quarter in western Mogok.
A local from Mogok who knows the incident said, “(They) bombed on Kathe quarters today. One died after hitting his head. Another one was injured”.
Similarly, on May 2 at 11:58 a.m., airstrikes were carried out on Oakkyin village in the west of Mogok township and Ba Mon village in the east.

A local said, “The bombing yesterday hit the Dhama Hall in Oakyin village, and the surrounding houses were also damaged. About 5 or 6 houses were destroyed, but no one was injured.
In addition, on April 30, the Terror Military Council launched an airstrike near Thitsaintgone village in the west of Mogok.
The Ta’ang Army (TNLA) announced that the meeting between TNLA and the Terror Military Council at Kunming, China, on April 28-29, had ended without reaching any agreement. The military asked TNLA to give back Mogok, Momeik, Nawngkhio, Kyaukme, and Hsipaw, which were occupied and currently controlled by TNLA, and to withdraw to Namhsan and Mangton townships, which were previously in the self-administrative region of Ta’ang/Palaung.
