1 Local Killed, 1 Injured in Kyaukme in indiscriminate artillery shelling by the Military Council

At 1:00 pm on July 26, the Terror Military Council shot artillery, without any fighting, at Naung Pein village, killing 1 local man, injuring 1, and damaging 6 houses.
According to a local man from Kyaukme, the Terror Military Council fired heavy artillery from Nawngkhiotowards Naung Pein village in Kyaukme Township, causing the explosions in Wards 1 and 2.
In addition to damaging 6 houses, the heavy artillery shelling also killed 30-year-old Ko Naung Aye, who had fled the war from Naung Cho, and injured 1 local man.

During the month of July, the Terror Military Council launched 5 airstrike bombings and 1 heavy artillery firing, three locals were killed and 12 others were injured according to the information the Ta’ang Women’s Organization had reached. In addition, 28 houses, the building of number 13 primary school, Hotel Corlli, and 5 governmental department buildings were damaged.
