Mogok Airstrike Kills Four, Injures Six in Lu Hta Ward
An airstrike by the terror military council on Lu Hta Ward, Kathe Group, west of Mogok, Mandalay Region, killed four residents, injured six others, and damaged 11 houses. The area is controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army(TNLA).
The attack occurred late at night, at 11:00 p.m. on November 11, 2024.
The father of the deceased child, Ko Rajar, shared his account, “On the same day they bombed Lae Oo. They bombed here and they went again to Lae Oo. My daughter-in-law brought the child down here. The child was fine. ‘But something happened to Raja; I couldn’t wake him up. Where was you, father?’ I called them to come back and sleep here. Then I went back to look for him. There was no one. I was the only one there. When I went to search, the zinc sheets had collapsed. I thought he was under there. ‘Raja, Raja, Raja,’ I kept looking for him. Then the plane returned. I was scared and ran away. After the plane was gone, I went back to search again.”

“While searching, I found him. I touched him to see if he was still alive. His face was cold, though his whole body was still a little warm. I touched his chest. He was hit at his chest. I carried him to the house. I found some medical workers and they helped to manage the body. The body was left there. I asked two or three people to wait with him. It was very difficult. The child, Pyae Pyae was hit on the left buttock, and there was no flesh left at all. I didn’t dare look at it when she was taken to the hospital. She is better now. Only three pillars remain of our house. The neighbor’s house was also hit by the bomb, and both of the victims who were in the house were killed. There is nothing left in the house.”
Another airstrike by the terror military council was also carried out on Le Oo Ward, east of Mogok, at 11:00 p.m. on November 11, 2025, causing damage to many residents and houses.
