2 Killed, 2 Injured, Nearly 20 Houses Damaged in Mongngao Bombing

Today, October 8, a bomb attack was reported in the Manglon and Tarlon neighborhoods of Mong Ngao, areas controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA). The attack occurred in a densely populated civilian area without any active fighting.
A local resident reported that one man and one woman were killed, and two other civilians—a man and a woman—were injured in the airstrike bombing.
“The aircraft dropped a bomb in front of the police station, and two of the victims were struck there. The people who were hit were not soldiers; they were people from the neighborhood. Some people were also injured. They also fired rockets. The rockets landed on the road near the police station and the general administration office. on the road leading to Bang Khok village. The plane has bombed in the city,” the source told TWO.
The deceased were identified as U Shwe Hein, 56, and Daw Hla Yin, 50, both from Manglon Ward.

The injured were identified as Ma Htwe Htwe Khin, 18, from Manglon Ward, and U Thein Maung Aye, 50, from Tarlon Ward, both of whom sustained back injuries.
The local man added that the terror military council used two 500-pound bombs and four rockets in the attack.
In Manglon Ward, 16 houses were damaged by what were identified as two 250-pound bombs. In Taflon Ward, three rockets were reportedly shot, destroying two houses. An additional rocket landed near the police station and another near the general administration office, bringing the total number of damaged or destroyed houses to 18.
