The Terror Military Council Bombs Kutkai Under Control of TNLA

At 3:00 pm today, the Terror Military Council bombed Kutkai, a town under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) by a jetfighter.

A local woman said, “Now I am outside for a business. (The jet) I have been flying since 1:00 pm, going back and forth. Now it is dropping the bomb. It seems they dropped bomb near Yadana Moe petrol station in Ward number 4. I can see the smoke rising. Schools were closed as the plane was flying above since 1:00 pm. People in the market were also scared, so they closed their shops and rushed back home.”

At the time of writing, the market in Kutkai is on fire due to the bombing. Additionally, the same resident mentioned said that it is still unknown whether there have been any casualties from the bombing explosions in other areas.

In June and July, aerial bombings by jet fighters in Hsenwi, a town now under the control of the Kokang Army (MNDAA), resulted in at least 7 civilian deaths and 9 injuries, the bombings targeted Hsenwi’s central market and nearby wards at midnight.

The above-mentioned bombardment also caused damage to the No. 1 State High School and many civilian homes.
