The Military Council Launches Airstrike Bombing Mogok Under the Control of TNLA

The Terror Military Council launched an airstrike bombing in Ohn Gaing New Ward, Eastern Mogok, Mandalay Region, which is under the control of Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).  

Last night, on June 25, at 11:12 PM, the terror military council launched an unprovoked airstrike without any fighting, injuring two residents and damaging civilian homes and some of the buildings in Ohn Gaing Monastery. 

A local man from Mogok said, “There was no death. There were only injured people. Only two people were hit. The bomb shrapnel was spread and only injured their legs. The injuries were not serious. The almshouse and roof of the monastery in Ohn Gaing village were hit and destroyed. Nearby houses were also hit. One house was destroyed completely and 4-5 houses were damaged.”

The Ta’ang Women’s Association is still investigating the details of the damage caused by the airstrike.

Similarly, on June 24, at 5 pm, the Terror Military Council carried out an airstrike bombing near the mosque and Sanpya Restaurant in Ward 4 in Kyaukme town which is under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA). Four civilians were killed and four others were injured. 24 civilian houses, including the mosque and the nunnery school, were damaged.
