A Child and Two Men Injured in Thibaw Bombing on Full Moon Day of Thadingyut)

On the full moon day of Thadingyut, October 6, at 7:50 a.m., the Terror Military Council reportedly launched an airstrike-bombing on Zatsu Ward of Hsipaw Township, an area controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA/PSLF).
A local man reported that the bombing damaged a building and injured three people, including a one-year-old child.
“A 250-pound bomb was dropped twice, landing in front of the general administrative office compound and hitting three people, including a child,” he told Ta’ang Women’s Organization.

The victims were identified as: one-year-old Khin Nyaw Tong, who was hit in the leg, 26-year-old U War Hlaing, who sustained injuries to his left arm, leg, and back, and 23-year-old Ko Thawna, who was injured in the leg.
The TNLA/PSLF previously reported separate incidents in the area. Yesterday, on October 5, at around 5:30 p.m., two local men were killed and three others were injured in an airstrike-bomb attack in Kyin Thi village, Hsipaw Township.
Additionally, on October 4, bombs were dropped at Manghe village, near the former 23rd Army Base and Kyaungsu village, damaging some of the monastery buildings.
