Yesterday, on June 19, at 3:30 p.m. in the evening, Taungni Village, Monglon Township, Northern Shan State was bombed by the Terror Miltary Council with a jet plane, killing 1 local woman on the spot and injuring 1 ten-year-old student.
As a result of the one-sided bombing, 2 civilian houses and a school were damaged, and a student Lway, who was cooking at home after the school, was seriously injured by the bombs.
A local from Taungni Village Tract said, “I don’t know where the plane came from, I only found out when it got near the village. At that time, I was driving and hadn’t reached home yet. After a while, I heard the sound of a bomb dropped at the entrance of Taungni Village. They bombed 3 times yesterday at Taungn, Namsikar, and Pan Thabyay Village in Mogok area. I haven’t heard of anyone getting hurt there.”
In addition, after the Terror Military council dropped a bomb in Taungni village, they also dropped 1 bomb in front of the school in Namsika village, causing no civilian casualties. Later, they bombed again at Pan Thabyay in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region.
