Casualties Occurred in Aerial Bombardment by the Military Council at Mogok
Up to 10 locals were injured, two others were killed, and many civilian houses were damaged in an aerial bombardment by the Terror Military Council between 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. last night in western and eastern parts of Mogok, controlled by Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), initial reports indicated.
A man on the ground in Mogok told Ta’ang Women’s Organization (TWO), “(They) dropped the bombs started from 11:00 p.m. last night. Currently, some houses were hit. We can’t get the exact number of casualties yet. The remaining people were moved to safer places. The bombs were dropped in both the western and eastern parts.”
The bombardments occurred near the spirit altar at Lae Oo Ward in the Eastern part and Luu Hta Ward in the Western Part of Mogok.
Ta’ang Women’s Organization continues to investigate to get a detailed list of injured and fatalities in the attack.
