Two Locals Killed and Six Others Injured in 7th Aerial Bombardment by the Military Council in Lashio
Two Locals were killed, and six others, including a pregnant woman were injured due to the aerial bombardment by the Terror Military Council targeting Lashio, which was controlled by Kokang Army (MNDAA).
Today, on September 27th, at around 3:30 in the morning, the Terror Military Council launched another bomb attack on Ward (1), Area (8), Lashio Myoma Market, and Ward (2), Kyauktaung Road.
A resident from Lashio said, “The bombing started after 3:00 o’clock. Two people were killed on Kyauktaung Road, and six others, including a pregnant woman, were injured. She was only wounded in her leg.”
This bombing also caused significant damage to several shops at Lashio Myoma Market and to Green Park Hotel in Ward (2) due to airplane bomb shrapnel.
Similarly, one local was killed, and 15 others were injured on September 24, when the Terror Military Council dropped a 500 lb. bomb from the airplane and many buildings including the Phulilike Hotel, YaHteik Hotel, and civilian houses nearby were damaged.
In addition, on September 25, the military bombed the Technical School and AD Tat Oo Monastery at Ward 12.
The Terror Military Council launched aerial bombardments at Lashio on August 30 and September 8, 9, 21, 24, 25, and 27 for a total of 7 times at Lashio, which was controlled by the Kokang Army (MNDAA).
