More than 20 Medical Staff and Patients Injured in Kyaukme Public Hospital Bombing
The terror military council’s forces launched an airstrike bombing on the Kyaukme Public Hospital in northern Shan State, on the afternoon of January 25, 2025, without any fighting nearby. The hospital is located in an area controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
Two jet fighters reportedly dropped four bombs on the public hospital without any fighting taking place in the vicinity.
The bombing resulted in numerous casualties: 2 CDM nurses who were treating patients and one patient were killed, and more than 20 others—including health workers, CDM staff, other patients, and civilians—sustained injuries.

A person familiar with the incident described the attack: “It happened around 1:30 p.m. that day. They dropped two bombs. There were about seven building in total, and all the hospital buildings were destroyed. Two nurses were killed, one patient was killed, and 16 people were injured.”
This alleged attack by the terror military council on the Kyaukme Public Hospital has forced local residents to seek medical treatment in other locations.
