5 Civilians Killed and at least 4 Injured as Military Council Airstrike Bombs Mogok Again

The terror military council has bombed Mogok, which is controlled by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army-PSLF/TNLA, again without any fighting.
Yesterday, August 9, at 6:45 pm, a bomb was dropped on Kyauk Nagar village, Thaduk Sho Village Tract, in eastern Mogok township without any fighting. The bomb killed 5 civilians including a novice, and injured a monk and 3 women. In addition, the monastery and 10 houses in Kyauk Nagar village were damaged.

A local resident said, “Last night, it fell on Kyauk Nagar monastery. A monk was hit and killed. The houses near the school were also hit. 5 houses were hit. The exact data on house damage is not yet known. Five people were killed, including a novice.”
U Tun Tin, 73, Novice Ashin Thamanay Witsala, 18, Daw Phyu Sin, 32, and her son and daughter Maung Aung Thu Chit, 8, and Hnin Wut Yi Oo, 11, were killed.
In addition, monk U Pyinnya Sara was slightly injured in the back. Daw Thein Tin was almost cut off at the thigh. Ma Shin Shin was wounded in her head, and Ma Soe San Wai was slightly injured in her thigh.
According to the Ta’ang Women’s Association, after the Ta’ang National Liberation Army PSLF/TNLA took control of Mogok, there had been 16 airstrike bombings without any fighting between January and August.

Then, from January to August 10, 41 people were killed and 78 others were injured in airstrike bombings.
