A Local Injured and a Religious Building Damaged in Another Airstrike on Nawngkhio
A local was injured, and several religious buildings were damaged in yet another airstrike by the Terror Military Council in Nawngkhio Township, northern Shan State, which is under the control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), at around 10 a.m. on January 6.
At around 10 a.m. on January 6, a jet fighter from of the Terror Military Council dropped a bomb on the Thapyay Taung Pagoda Hill in Thapyayyay Ward, Nawngkhio Township.

A local resident who witnessed the incident said, “This morning, a plane came and dropped bombs on Thapyay Taung Pagoda Hill. There was only a nursing home, no military base. Some buildings were damaged, and one man was injured.”
The injured man has been identified as Sai Hla Oo, 30, who sustained a wound at his right thigh. The Ta’ang Women’s Organization is currently investigating the incident for further details.
Similarly, according to the statement from the TNLA, airstrikes by the Terror Military Council in several Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)-controlled areas throughout January resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians and injuries to 26 others.
