Five Civilians Killed, 19 Injured in Airstrike on Mogok

Five civilians were killed and 19 others were injured in the early morning today around after midnight, when the Terror Military Council launched a bombing attack with Y-12 aircraft at Mogok controlled by Ta’ang Army and joint forces. 

“This morning around 12:00 a.m., they dropped nearly 30 bombs from an aircraft. The targeted area, where the bombs were dropped, is called workplace for fences. There were some casualties; some died and some injured. There was also damages due to fire,” said a local resident who knows the incident. 

Due to the bombing, five civilians were killed and 19 more including 5 women, were injured. The Ta’ang Women’s Organization continues investigating to gather more details on the incident. 

Similarly, on January 8, bombs were dropped near the Mogok Golf Course and Masoeyein Monastery and five houses and monastery buildings were damaged.
